The child is always the priority sector for any parent and these days and keeping these citizens of future healthy always comes first. A child is often called the wealth of a nation and its future. So it is also the responsibility of the state to keep that child healthy.

Child Health Insurance plans are available with many private insurance agencies. For the government aided plans, where available, one needs to fulfill certain criteria related to income for being eligible. In such plans the rate of premium is heavily subsidized and that makes it easy for the parents to maintain the plans. But if one does not qualify and wishes to get individual plan for the children then it must be said that they can prove costlier than normal family insurance plans. So it is quite common to add the children to the family insurance plans under the terms and conditions applicable to those plans. Moreover, individual child insurance plans are not that common to find among the private agencies.
